This is the official tartan of the Carolinas.  The North Carolina legislature adopted the Carolina Tartan as the official tartan of the state of North Carolina on May 9, 1991.  The South Carolina legislature did the same on June 3, 2002.  This cummerbund set is all wool and made in the USA.
